Just In Time To Count Me In
Tuesday August 8, 2006
NEWBORN Mackenzie Dunbar-Roberts made it just in time for the Government's largest periodic survey of Australia's population and society, arriving at the John Hunter Hospital on Saturday. She will join more than 600,000 people in the Hunter tonight as the 2006 census gets under way. Household census forms, which have been distributed by 30,000 workers nationally, will have 61 questions on people's age, employment, living arrangement and other facets of daily life. Creativity is like the stockmarket - you should diversify your investment so that no one thing takes a huge capital loss. As a performer, I like having a lot of irons in the fire so I can surprise people. I can show different facets and if they haven't seen me one way, they might have seen me in another way, and then each of those performances reflect off each other. It looks like I do a lot, but sometimes its a dazzling prism that can make a gem look more lustrous than it is.
